10 Months

My sweet girl - 10 months old! You are (all too quickly) approaching that one year mark that makes you seem too grown up for me. Slow down, please!
You have been on the move this month, each day getting quicker and perhaps a little more brave. You love to explore every single spot in the house, and somehow you always manage to find those spots with the most tiny little things (read: leaves, rocks, dirt, crumbs) to pick up and "taste". As a result, we have spent lots of time fishing little treasures out of your mouth!
One exciting development this month has been your sleeping. Luckily, over the past month, you have (finally) retained a very good night time sleeping routine that has been mostly consistent (about 90% - which I'll take!). You (usually) sleep around 12 hours at night with one small wake-up time that includes a very small bottle sometime during that 12 hours. After the struggles we have had with your schedule, I will take this!
You still don't have a single tooth, but that hasn't stopped you from eating anything and everything we offer you. Your favorites include anything you can pick up yourself, but you are also a big fan of yogurt and applesauce. You started drinking whole milk from a sippy cup this month too, with breakfast and sometimes for an afternoon snack. All your bottles are now a mix of formula and whole milk, so hopefully over the next month we might transition to all milk (and save a little $$!).
You have quite the personality, and I can't wait to see that grow and develop more and more. Will you be shy and timid like you big brother? Will you be silly and social like (no one in our house!)? Will you be sarcastic? Funny? Stubborn? The possibilities and endless, but I know that no matter what you will be exactly who you are supposed to be.
I love you forever and always, Griffin girl. Thanks for making me a girl mom! XOXO

She is growing so fast and is so sweet. No doubt she will have a sweet personality too. It is so good to see her and her brother love each other. We so enjoyed getting to take care of them during your recent trip. They were both good kids during our stay and so easy to care for. Love you all.
