Eastland - Month 2

I'm not gonna' lie, Eastland, this past month has been rough. In fact, I would say it has been the hardest month for any of our kids so far. Good grief!

After switching to formula near the end of month 1, we discovered that you have some digestion issues that were causing you to have pretty severe reflux as well as quite a bit of pain in your tummy, possibly because of ulcers that had formed. Because of that, we started giving you a pretty specialized formula (that stinks like crazy!!), as well as Zantac for the reflux. We've been doing that for about three weeks now with maybe a little improvement. However, you still don't seem very happy with us most of the time. (Translation - lots and lots of screaming fits multiple times a day!) Good times!

One really positive thing about your current routine is that you sleep amazing at night. You have started going 5-6 hours after your night time bottle before waking to eat. Then you are back to your normal 3 (ish) hours between bottles. I'll take that!

I really hope we can get all your tummy issues resolved so that you will become a pleasant, happy baby soon because...well, mostly for our sanity, but also because when you are happy you are just as sweet and kissable as can be!

You are definitely continuing to surprise us, but maybe more fun surprises (like you rolling from your tummy to your back the other day) and less not-so-fun surprises (like the random fits for no reason and the screaming like someone is peeling your skin off). Deal?

I love you bunches, East. -Mama-
